Prism Labradors Foster Home Program Application
This application is for families applying for a foster program puppy.
We place some of our breeding females in selected foster homes.
In order to improve the breed of dogs and develop our bloodline of top-quality show dogs, we place some of our lovely dogs in homes as a lifelong pet, and, in exchange for the low cost to adopt the puppy, we retain full breeding rights for two litters.
The cost of a puppy is initially half of the current puppy price. We reimburse the full amount upon completing the contract. In the end, the foster family pays nothing for the puppy.

This section contains some of the terms of our foster program contract.
A foster family is required to feed a good quality food. We ask that it be Life's Abundance or something on that order. We do not want grocery store food used. Families can expect a cost of $50/month.

Should the foster parents spay the dog without our request or refuse to allow us to breed the dog, they agree to pay for two litters of 8 pups at $1,500.00 each.

Being a foster family requires open communication. If the foster parents do not notify us when a girl comes in season (even if we do not plan on breeding a litter) the foster parents are liable for the price of a litter or the dog may be taken away from the foster family.
I Agree

When we no longer wish to keep this dog in our breeding program, the foster family is required to spay the dog and provide a letter from your vet confirming the spay is complete.
I Agree

We do our best to provide needed transportation but may need the foster family to bring the dog to us or to appointments.
